Guest Membership
When you know that you or a covered member of your family will be out of the area for at least 90 days, you can apply for a guest membership with a participating HMO/POS plan in your travel area, where available. The Away from Home Care® program offers a comprehensive set of HMO/POS benefits through a participating plan while away from home.

- At least 30 days prior to leaving the service area, complete a Guest Membership application.
- If you login to the member portal at ibx.com first, and then go to the form, the form will pre-populate with your information. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Login to the member portal at ibx.com
- From the Dashboard, go to Tools and Resources, then click Resource Center
- In the left column, check the Category Enrollment
- Under Application, select Electronic Guest Membership Application
- Receive text messages with updates while your application is being processed when you are wired or connected with IBX.
