As an intern, I received hands-on professional experience in the Corporate Communications department, gained life skills, and cultivated relationships with my team and fellow interns that were nurtured even after it ended. The support of my department, peers, and the internship program leaders was vital to my success — it is ultimately what landed me a full-time position months later.

— Ajé King, Digital Communications Specialist (Intern class of 2019)

The IBX Summer Internship Program was an amazing and rewarding experience. Expanding my skills and strengths, the internship allowed me to collaborate directly with the Social Media Marketing team, attend professional development seminars, and volunteer with the IBX Blue Crew. Most of all, I’m grateful that this experience led me to a full-time position that I enjoy every day. I am looking forward to growing my career with an outstanding organization.

— Gabriela “Gabby” Scanga, Social Media Community Management Specialist (Intern class of 2021)

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and how it gave me invaluable experience. Not only was I exposed to a terrific network of support from IBX, but also made professional connections, which ultimately gave me the opportunity to become a full-time employee.

— Reggie Price Jr., Talent Management & Employee Relations Specialist (Intern class of 2022)

Throughout my 10-week internship, not only was I determined to get an understanding of how IBX operated, but I also wanted to leave a good impression in the hopes of landing a full-time role. My intern experience was filled with multiple trainings every week and meetings with different directors, managers and executives of the underwriting and finance department. With so much on their plates, they still found the time to talk to me about my life, how I was getting along with my work, answering any questions I had, and offering me advice for the long career that lay ahead of me. The 1-on-1 meetings were incredibly valuable and meaningful to me.

— Alec Funchion, Associate Underwriter (Intern class of 2023)
